What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that the website you are visiting asks to save on your computer.
There are two kinds of cookies. One kind saves a file on your computer for a long time; this kind of cookie has an expiry date. It is used, for example, for functions that tell you about any new features since you last visited the website in question. When the expiry date has passed, the cookie is automatically deleted when you return to the website that created it.
The second kind of cookie is called a ‘session cookie’ and does not have an expiry date. This cookie is temporarily stored in your computer’s memory while you are surfing on a site, for example to keep a track of which language you have chosen. Session cookies disappear when you shut down your web browser.
Cookies used on this webpage
The following cookies are used on this website:
__utma.txt (stored in your browser for: 2 years)
__utmb.txt (stored in your browser for: 30 minutes)
__utmc.txt (stored in your browser for: 30 minutes)
__utmz.txt (stored in your browser for: 6 months)
These cookies are used to collect anonymous statistics about how the user interacts with the site. For example how many times a user visits the site, the time spent on the site and how the user came to the site.
PointShoppingCart.txt (stored in your browser for: 1hour)
This cookie is used in the web order function to remember which items the user has placed in the shopping cart. Without this cookie the user won’t be able to add items to the shopping cart, and thus not use the web order function properly.
selectedLanguage.txt (stored in your browser for: 1 year)
This cookie is used to store information about the user’s selected language.
How to avoid cookies
To avoid cookies you can configure your web browser to automatically deny the storage of cookies, or to inform you each time a site asks for storing a cookie on your computer. You can also remove previously stored cookies through your web browser. Look at your browsers help pages for more information.
If you choose not to accept cookies some functions on this website may not work properly.
