Paybox Services has been present in the e-commerce market since 1999 with its Paybox Services, a must-have solution, which is a true virtual electronic payment terminal, specially designed to accept online payments.
A multi-channel solution: E-commerce / Distance selling / Local payments (physical electronic payment terminals)
Apart from e-commerce, Paybox Services has developed a secure platform for processing electronic payments from a range of sales channels (call centres, data input centres, WAP or i-mode, interactive voice servers and complex processing on e-commerce sites).
In 2006, Paybox Services added processing of payments from physical payment terminals connected via IP (ADSL / GPRS) to our platform to its set of skills. Two packages are available: one for independent traders and the other for multi-points of sale businesses.
Paybox Services is now the first e-banking “multi-bank” operator to offer a comprehensive approach to processing payments from distance selling, providing a service linked to the whole banking landscape and non-bank card issuers. Our range of modules provides an optimal level of processing for each of the sales channels via a sole service provider.
Paybox Services is a key market player with connections to the various businesses, banks, card issuers, processing centres, institutions and integrators.
A true “multi-channel” operator, for each client Paybox Services develops and implements situation-specific solutions that meet its objectives. Our tools and services are circulated directly to merchants and also via financial institutions and integration services and EFT/POS distributors.

From the beginning, Paybox Services has constantly developed the range of cards and payment methods that it accepts for processing. This means that a merchant who registers with Paybox can accept bankcards (Visa & MasterCard), as well as over fifteen other payment methods (Amex, Diners, JCB, E-CB, Cofinoga, Sofinco, Finaref, Aurore, 1Euro.com, PayPal, Carte Cadeau, split payments, Quasi Cash, Carte CUP) in a large number of currencies.
Traditionally based in France but now open to over forty European countries
Totally multi-bank on French soil, Paybox Services is developing the same positioning by offering links with a number of European acquirers. Modular and configurable, the Paybox platform enables merchants to receive domestic payments
Accreditation and certification
Paybox Services holds accreditation and certification from GIE Cartes Bancaires, Visa and MasterCard, and from non-bank issuers and acquirers for its distance selling and local payment services (Paybox Local).
Naturally, Paybox Services is PCI-DDS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certified by Visa and MasterCard. Renewed on a yearly basis, this certification guarantees the platform’s high level of security and integrity.
